Build schools with sporting facilities

Sidwell Nofemele of Tsutsumani writes:

Since the dawn of democracy I have noticed with great interest the schools being built by our government. The only problem with the schools being built is that they do not have sporting facilities such as race tracks, swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, netball courts, etc.

If one looks at former white schools those facilities are available. As we were growing up, we were encouraged to play sport even though there were no facilities. These days children do not play sport, and are therefore obese and tend to experiment with alcohol and sex at a tender age.

This is because there is nothing that excites them to keep them away from mischief. It is part of the reason why children from formerly African schools hardly excel in any form of sport, except for soccer.

But if I am to be brutally frank, I put all the blame on our government. They should consider building schools with these various sporting facilities to enable our children to be competitive and to keep them out of trouble. Please do something urgently.
