ANGOFNGO’s gets linens from a Sandton hotel

ALEXANDRA – Among those who received linen were Lion of Judah NPO and #Gunfree Alex.

Radisson Blu Hotel in Sandton donated linen to 15 non-governmental organisations in Alex under the umbrella of Alex NGO Foundation on August 13.

The linen included sheets, pillowcases, towels, duvet covers and floor towels.Alex NGO Foundation founder Patrick Baloyi said, “Most of the organisations under Alex NGO Foundation work with vulnerable children and elderly people who are under the care of different care facilities and that is where the linen is going.”

Baloyi told Alex News that the foundation was aiming to promote collaboration and not competition among the Alexandra-based organisations that share the same objectives, which is why the organisations would receive an equal share of the linen.

“Alex NGO Foundation teaches its members not to compete against each other, but rather to complement each other, and through that process we teach them the value of sharing.”
