Four hijackers sought

A hijacking case has been opened at Alexandra Police Station.

The incident took place at the corner of Lennin and London roads on 17 April.

According to Alex’s spokesperson, the complainant reported that he was driving his white VW Polo and while stationary at the intersection of Lennin and London roads, he was accosted by four men with firearms.

“They all jumped inside, pushed him to the passenger seat, and drove with him to an unknown address where he was instructed to give them his banking app password and they transferred money to different accounts,” said Mbatha.

The complainant claimed they also robbed him of two cell phones, an iPhone and Samsung galaxy. After the ordeal they let him go.

The police are investigating the case.
