Alex resident robbed at gunpoint
ALEXANDRA – Alex Police are in search of two male suspects involved in an armed robbery.
An Alexandra resident alleged that he was robbed at gunpoint on 20 November at around 9.30pm.
The complainant told officers at Alexandra Police Station that he was walking alone on the corner of 15th Avenue and Selbone Street when he came across two men.

“One pointed a firearm at him and the other one took his cell phone, a Huawei P30 Lite. The complainant alleged that his phone is valued at R6 000,” said Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, the spokesperson of Alex police.
“The suspects are still at large and a docket of robbery has been opened.”
