Ratang Bana organisation receives 500 blankets for Mandela Day

ALEXANDRA – The blankets were donated by Pastor Alf Lukau of Alleluia Ministry International church, in collaboration with Impuma group and Bayethe Capital.

Non-profit organisation (NPO) Ratang Bana Future for Children received 500 blankets for the children in their care and various families in the community on Mandela Day.

Founder of the NPO, Ingrid Maredi expressed her gratitude to Lukau and all those that came together to make this winter a little warmer for the children and families.

“We are blessed to have been recipients of this kind gesture especially at a time when warmth is needed and the number of infected people is rising rapidly. We are thankful,” she said.

Maredi added that the organisation had been giving back to the community in the form of food parcels and other things that were needed by families.
