ALEXANDRA – Captain Stephen Malatjie said the police have not yet established if the minibus belonged to any taxi association or a private individual.

The Alex police has called upon members of the public to come forward with any information after a man was found dead in a minibus on the corner of Roosevelt Street and 10th Avenue in Alexandra on 14 September.

According to the Alexandra Police Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatjie, “A young man was found dead in a minibus, shot three times.

“He had bullet wounds in his chest, neck and in his jaw. It is clear that the killer intended to make sure that the victim was dead. The belongings of the deceased were not touched.”
