Tsutsumani non-profit organisation celebrates Nelson Mandela Day

 Tsutsumani non-profit organisation that was formed last year by former Ward 105 councillor Mercy Modiba to help local elders, hosted Nelson Mandela Day in Tsutsumani, Alexandra.

Modiba uses her own funds to feed local elders and orphans every Thursday and Sunday in a local park.

She urged community members who were part of the celebration to lend a helping hand to the poor and child-headed families.
“Tata Nelson Mandela gave 67 years of his life to liberate us. All of us, the living generation, should take on where he left off and reach to the poor and the afflicted,” she said.
