Robbers snatch phones, takkies from pedestrian

ALEXANDRA – Robbers leave pedestrian shoeless and phoneless.

 


Two suspects alleged to have robbed a pedestrian in the early morning on Vincent Tshabala Road are wanted by the police.

According to Alex Police Station spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji, the incident occurred at about 4.30am on 26 January at the intersection with 22nd Avenue. The suspects pounced on the victim as he walked to work. They demanded money and took the victim’s two cell phones and his takkies at gunpoint.

No shots were fired by the suspects.
