Hospice desperate for festive donations

ALEXANDRA – Make the festive season memorable for hospice patients.

NPO, Alex Hospice and Rehabilitation Centre appeals for donations to make the festive season a memorable one for its patients.

The centre on 2nd Avenue is at old school premises turned heritage site. It requires regular maintenance to make the facilities livable and relatively comfortable for the frail beneficiaries. It was recently allocated a R20-million grant by the Joburg Development Agency for new facilities to be constructed from next year at a spacious site in East Bank where double the current 30 patients will be accommodated.
