An Alex man is pleading with citizens to help him find his wife who left their home on 18th Avenue in December 2013.
David Chaoane said he last saw his wife, Angel, before visiting his family in Rustenburg, only to come back to an empty house. “When I got back to our home, I had found that she had left with no explanation of where to or why.”
He could not think of any reason that could have contributed to her departure because there were no problems when he left. “Everything was fine, we did not fight and were on good terms, so I was surprised when she did not return.”
In 2014, Chaoane heard through a friend, who had met Angel in the Johannesburg CBD, that she lived in Cosmo City. “That was another dead-end. I could not locate her anywhere.”
Chaoane had since met another woman. “Things with the woman in my life now are going well and I see a promising future with her, which is why I would like my wife to come back so that we can officially end things properly.”
Angel and Chaoane met in Bloemfontein in 1996 where he went to school and they later married. They have one child together.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Angel can contact David on 073 363 3714.
