Diplomat robbery accuseds, in court

ALEXANDRA – Four men accused of robbing Iranian diplomats appear in court.

 

Four men who were remanded in custody on 24 October by the Alex Magistrates’ Court for the alleged robbery of Iranian diplomats, will reapply for bail on 31 October.

The accused, Nqobile Moyo, Mandla Dlamini, Delight Sibanda and Frank Mudau from Hillbrow and Berea appeared before Magistrate Renier Boshoff with three others, who were released due to insufficient evidence.

They are said to have tailed the victims from OR Tambo Airport en route to Sandton and are accused of robbing the victims at gunpoint of an assortment of goods after stopping their shuttle in the Bramley area. Some of the goods were allegedly recovered in the accused’s homes.
