Schoolchildren at DH Carter Primary School will no longer be sent home when water is not available at their school.
This follows the installation of a rain water harvesting tank at the school which will ensure that even when water is not available, children can continue with their lessons as usual.
The tank, installed at the school in partnership with Alex SuperSpar at the Alex Plaza Mall and Sunlight, will play a major role in the
conservation of water which is fast becoming a scarce commodity in South Africa as consequent droughts continue to play havoc on the water situation in the country.
