Top musos, DJ’s line-up for MTN8 semis this weekend
JOBURG – It's MTN8 this weekend and fans can brace themselves for a massive entertainment lineup.
MTN together with the Premier Soccer League has lined up some of the country’s top musicians and disc jockeys as part of the entertainment package at the MTN8 semi-final fixtures.
The pre-match and half-time entertainment will include the likes of DJ Tira, OKMalumKoolkat, Four Four and many others.
The first MTN8 semi-final fixture will be at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal where Maritzburg United will host SuperSport United in a return leg on 9 September with kick-off at 8.15pm. The first leg ended in a 1–1 draw.
The crowd in Maritzburg will be entertained by the legendary DJ Tira and new gqom music group, Four Four.
The following day, Benni McCarthy’s Cape Town City travel to Milpark in Johannesburg to play Gavin Hunt’s Bidvest Wits. City goes into the second leg with a 1–0 advantage.
Hip hop heavyweight, OKMalumKoolkat will be the main music act at Bidvest Stadium and will perform hit tracks such as Gqi and Amalobolo.
