The DA will not win Gauteng says Premier Mokonyane

“Not while I’m a member of the ANC will the DA run Gauteng,”said Mokonyane.

She said the party was gunning to win the Western Cape instead.

“When the DA makes noise about taking over Gauteng, they pump my adrenalin. This is a silly season, we will come back and toast our victory as the ANC next year,” she added.

Mokonyane said no individual in the ruling party campaigned for the Premier’s position and that the party had drawn immense support since it started campaigning for next year’s national elections.

“I remain a member of the ANC, if I’m deployed to any position, I will take up that call,” she said.

She further described how the party continued to take cognisance of the issues raised by the province’s residents.
