Peace Builders to build peace at Pan Africa Mall in Alex
ALEXANDRA – A peace building event will be held at Pan Africa Mall on 25 August.
Alexandra Peace Builders, in partnership with the Action Support Centre, will host a peace building and human rights awareness event at Pan Africa Mall.
The event will take place on 25 August and will run from 10am to 2pm.
Participants are urged to bring along their banners and information pertaining to the services provided by their organisation, department or unit, which can be shared with the community.
One of the organisers of the initiative, Thabo Mopasi believes there can never be lasting peace among people and communities if peace bridges are not built.
“For us to attain lasting peace, we need to build peace bridges and get people to talk to one another and create that conducive environment and atmosphere for peace to thrive,” Mopasi said.
