Alex police officers are investigating a house robbery allegedly committed by three suspects in police uniform.
The incident occurred at 11.15pm on 15 December last year at an 11th Avenue residence when the family was watching television.
Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Lieutenant Allie Kodisang said one of the suspects allegedly had a police issue vest on, while the other suspects wore a police uniform and a police branded T-shirt.

The suspects allegedly knocked at the door and demanded that the victims open up. When inside, one of the suspects allegedly pointed a firearm at the family and demanded money. The victims handed over R200 in cash and MZM4 000 (Mozambique metical), worth about R788.
