Aspiring entrepreneurs invited to training workshop

The Greater Alexandra Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Galxcoc) is inviting prospective entrepreneurs in Alex to a weekend event which will help them mount their business ventures.

Titled the Start-up Weekend, the event will be held from 23 to 25 September at 3 Square Sports Grounds situated on 13th Avenue.

The prospective participants will pitch their business ideas and attend workshops on learning how to structure business ideas for successful businesses. Attendees will work in teams to develop business plans as well as collaboration and networking skills.

After the weekend, attendees will showcase their business presentations to a panel of judges and the winner will receive support from the Innovation Hub.
