Two Alex brothers and their neighbour recently admitted to a charge of housebreaking and were remanded in custody by Alexandra Magistrates’ Court pending sentencing on 8 September.
The accused brothers, Jackson (24) and Phalu Sakala (27), and Mikateko Baloyi (28) were arrested in a Parkmore residence at about 3.10am on 13 August by security guards patrolling the area. This after the guards were alerted to a disturbance at the residence after an alarm went off.
The guards found two of the accused hiding in a change room and the other suspect in the bathroom.
The court will take into account any criminal records the suspects may have.
