It’s registration time for local government elections
ALEXANDRA - It's that time again when Alex residents have to register themselves in order to vote in the upcoming municipal elections whose date is still yet to be announced by Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister David van Rooyen.

The date for the elections is yet to be announced by Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister David van Rooyen.
Voter registration will take place on the weekend of 5 and 6 March this year from 8am to 5pm, and voters need to register at a polling station closest to them. Once registered at that particular polling station, voters will be required to vote at that station as they will be turned away if they go to another.
