Woman raped in home and dragged on to pavement
ALEXANDRA - A stone drunk woman arrived at her house in the company of her drunk friends and says she noticed her ex-boyfriend in the house.
A drunk woman arrived at her house in the company of her drunk friends and said she noticed her ex-boyfriend in the house.
As she was so drunk, the woman immediately passed out. The next thing she realised was when she woke up on the pavement, half-naked. According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, the 20-year-old woman had no recollection of what happened after she arrived home. She said she was told by her mother that her ex-boyfriend had raped her inside the house and later dragged her out half-naked, and placed her on the pavement, two houses down the road.
Later during the day, the victim said her mother claimed she had been told this story by one of the victim’s friends, who was present that night when she arrived home drunk.
A case of rape has been opened with the police. Maphakela said the police were still looking for the ex-boyfriend to question him about the allegations.
