Ndi said the team will work hard again the regional league to finally secure promotion to the ABC Motsepe League and ultimately the Premier Soccer League. “I have given the team about five years from now to ensure that we reach our dream of playing in the PSL,” he said.

In addition to Opopo’s recent triumph in the regional league, the team’s proudest moments centre around its recent exports. It managed to secure a professional contract for Siyabonga Khumalo (20) with Swallows FC.
