Day care wishes parents and nursery children well over festive season

The Connie Day Care has wished all its children and their parents well over the festive season and those that will be traveling must also have a good journey home and back to Alexandra in the New Year.

Newly appointed principal of the Connie Day Care on 6th Avenue in Alexandra has wished children and parents well as they travel to various destinations to celebrate the festive season with the rest of their family members.

Cindy Khumalo, who has taken over the reigns following the death of founder and principal Constance Ntini on 26 October, said Christmas was a time of joy when families are finally re-united after a long year of separation due to work and other commitments.

“As we travel to our various destination, I take this opportunity to wish you all a safe trip back home, peaceful festive celebrations and that we all come back to our beloved Alexandra in the same fashion and spirit when we left,” Khumalo.

She expressed her gratitude to both the staff and parents of the children at the day care for standing together during the difficult time when the institution lost its founder last October after a short illness.

“It was not easy for all of us as staff and parents alike, but I am comforted by the spirit of oneness that was displayed by all during that difficult time and for that I will forever be grateful,” she said.

To new parents and nursery learners that will be joining next, Khumalo said they are more than welcome to the family of the Connie Day Care and ‘we hope you will find the institution a worthwhile facility for the foundational development of your children’.

“Thanks for choosing us and we look forward to a fruitful relationship that may span a few years before your children graduate for primary school as they continue to climb the ladder of education and development to become better citizens,” Khumalo added.
