Kgabo, a 16-year-old who lives with his grandmother and younger sister, is a Grade 9 learner who is studying engineering, design and graphics in preparation for a dream career as an automotive design engineer.
Kgabo’s story is part of the #UntoldStories campaign that aims to highlight the reality and obstacles that underprivileged youth and their families face daily. Afrika Tikkun urges potential donors to follow Kgabo’s story on their social media channels.
“Our centres of excellence serve as beacons of hope and home to youth like Kgabo, assisting them with their studies, providing meals as well as personal development,” read a statement from Afrika Tikkun.
