Alex’s Thabo Mopasi reminds the community about wearing masks this season

Alexandra Water Sanitation and Environmental Community Forum secretary Thabo Mopasi has urged the Alex community to continue to adhere to wearing masks especially in the face of the approaching winter season.

Mopasi said winter was when bacteria and viruses were more prevalent.

“This winter season is when the majority of people get flu and everyone knows the danger that lurks with influenza.

“This is why I am making a clarion call that people of Alex in their overcrowded place with a population of over 900 000, must take precautions very seriously because the virus has now mutated many times since it was discovered.”
