Police investigate case of attempted murder

Police detectives are investigating a case of attempted murder that occurred on August 6 at about 20:35 on the corner of Selbourne and 6th avenues in Alexandra.

According to Alex police spokesperson Sergeant Simphiwe Mbatha, police found a man who was shot in the left arm and left side of his chest by a suspect known to the victim. The victim was taken to Sunninghill Hospital.

The suspect has not been arrested.
