Alex Men’s Forum goes international

ALEXANDRA – The chairperson of the Alex Men’s Forum said the podcast has received positive feedback.

The Alex Men’s Forum has partnered with Institute for Applied Alchemy (IAA) to promote the forum’s podcast regarding gender-based violence in 22 different countries.

The role of IAA is to impact the Gini-coefficient in South Africa by ensuring that each citizen understands their individual wound and has sufficient internal scaffolding to extricate the gold that lies within.

Members of the men’s forum were urged by the IAA to prepare their passports as they will be travelling to different countries out of the 22 countries their podcast is being promoted in.

Chairperson of the forum, Charles Mphephu said the IAA wants them to teach others about gender-based violence by addressing dialogues in the various countries.

Mphephu said in an interview that the partnership with IAA will create a spotlight for them to shine enough to be recognised by the South African government.

“The feedback from our podcast in the 22 countries is positive feedback as we now get to be recognised … Countries we will be travelling to include Uganda, Canada, UK, Cameroon, and Nigeria,” said Mphephu.

The Men’s Forum member also plans to embark on a programme to teach learners from different schools around Alexandra how to grow food gardens.
