Foundation to raise funds for poor schoolchildren

ALEXANDRA – Respect and Ubuntu Foundation to uplift poor children's education.

The Respect and Ubuntu Foundation will host a fundraising event in aid of Alex’s poor and orphaned schoolgoing children.

The event, 2019 Every Learner Deserves Dignity Gala Dinner, will be held at 6.30pm on 6 March at the Marlboro Community Centre. The organisation founder and Alex business mogul George Moyo said the occasion will be part of their annual charity work of uplifting poor children attending the township’s 13 primary schools.

Moyo said, “We invest in their educational needs for the country’s future benefit. Invited guests will include education officials, some captains of commerce and industry, philanthropists, funding and charity agencies and notable figures in the entertainment industry.”

Those who are keen to contribute to the campaign should contact Balise Mlatsheni on 074 551 7015 for details.
