ALEXANDRA – Attempted murderer of tuckshop operator on the run from police

 


A suspect is on the run from the police following the attempted murder of an Alexandra business operator at his tuckshop.

According to police spokesperson Captain Stephen Malatji, the victim who was shot nine times at 3.30am on 23 January is fighting for his life in a hospital.

“The victim who was asleep woke up when he heard an intruder and the suspect shot him. He then fled from the shop leaving him for dead. Neighbours alerted to the shooting assisted to get him to the hospital for treatment,” Malatji said. It wasn’t stated if anything was taken from the shop.
