Alex teams can join Neymar Jr signature tournament for free
ALEXANDRA - Alex teams to get free entry into Neymar Jr's Five soccer tournament 2017.
Alex teams wanting to join the Neymar Jr’s Five football tournament can do so this coming weekend at the new Alex Mall soccer courts for free.
This is because entries for this weekend on 10 and 11 June at the Alex Mall and the Discovery Soccer Park in Illovo have been sponsored but are on a first come first serve basis.
This will be the second edition of the tournament and teams that enter will stand the chance to go the local finals which will take place in Newtown, Johannesburg on Youth Day 16 June.
The tournament is the brainchild of world acclaimed footballer, Brazil and Barcelona great Neymar Jr, who came up with the concept and named it Neymar Jr’s Five.
The tournament is a fast moving, fun and technical game which injects excitement into the beautiful game and teams around the world stand a chance to participate in the world finals in July at the Instituto Projecto Neymar Jr in Praia Grande, Brazil.
Teams will comprise five to seven players between the ages of 16 to 25 years. Only two players can be over 25 years of age per team and teams will play for 10 minutes.
