Anything that allows children to get their hands dirty and interact with their food is a winning mix. So today, we’re going to show you how to have stamping fun with an apple, paint, paper, and a little imagination.
What you need
- An apple
- A knife
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Paper
- Paper towels
How to make it
- Begin by slicing an apple in half. This step is best left for an adult.
- Each side of the apple will function as a stamp, providing your child with two stamps.
- Let your child paint the insides of the apple halves.
- Help them carefully stamp the apple’s paint-covered side onto paper.
- Lift the apple to uncover the prints left behind.
