Are you looking for something fun to do with your preschooler today? Why not help them make paper letter blocks? This craft is super easy to make and requires only a handful of materials you probably already have in your home.
What you need
- A4 or Letter size cardstock
- Crayons or coloured markers
- Scissors
- White glue
How to make it
- Search the Internet for free print cube templates to print, cut out, and assemble into three-dimensional paper cubes. For a few print cube template options, click here.
- Cut the template pieces out.
- Fold the template along the inner lines.
- To make a cube, glue the sides together along the tabs.
- Set aside the cube to dry.
- In crayon or marker, draw letters on each of the cube’s sides.
- Use the blocks to help your child learn phonics and spell words.
