With several businesses taking a knock due to Covid-19, they felt that this is a way of giving back to the community by particularly helping small businesses.

“We have engaged with some local businesses and local law enforcement agencies who have agreed to partner with us,” said Mhlanga.

“Adhering to strict Covid-19 regulations, we embarked on this journey to assist our community. As Ocean Echo Properties we decided to give back to our community by ensuring a safe space for stallholders to sell and market their goods.

“At the same time we also create traffic for our current tenants. We had a various number of stallholders from art, electronics, jewellery, clothes, food and much more,” said Mhlanga.

With the success of the first market, they have decided to hold it every last weekend of the month.
