Enjoy emerald green forests and shimmery pink grassland
Join an open Sunday session on December 20 or all Sunday mornings in January from 8 am to 11.30 am to walk about and explore at your leisure. Groups spread out all over the Koppies keeping social distancing quite easily.
Walk along ridges with panoramic views, through open areas where the pink-tipped grasses shimmer in the sunlight and down to the river through emerald green forests.
The archaeological site has many information boards. Guided tours are available for small groups at no extra cost. Adults R80 and children R40 and all funds raised is used for maintenance of the Koppies.
Security on the Koppies is provided; park in secure parking opposite the entrance at Marks Park in Judith Road, Emmarentia. Mid-week tours can be arranged.
