Stepping Stone Hospice publishes recipe book

The book is available from the Stepping Stone Hospice In-Patient Unit in New Market Park.

Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services recently announced the publication of their first-ever Stepping Stone Hospice recipe book, Meals Make Memories.

The idea for this recipe book came from their clinical services manager, Sister Margi Bollman.

Ann Venter, a member of the psycho-social team, took the project on with great enthusiasm and determination.
She joined forces with one of the Hospice’s patients, the late Louise McIntyre, who was so excited by this project that just three weeks before she passed away, spent an entire week writing out her recipes on pieces of scrap paper – 43 of them!

Ann took these recipes, added some of her own and sourced others from staff and family members at the Hospice. The result – a delightful collection of 140 recipes, all tried and tested and proven to be winners in their own right.

The book is available from the Stepping Stone Hospice In-Patient Unit in New Market Park at R150 per copy.
If you can’t get to the Hospice, and need it delivered or posted, kindly email Marietjie: marietjie@steppingstonehospice.co.za with all your details.
