Nissan introduces updated Qashqai

Nissan SA has announced a refreshed Qashqai which now features an all-new infotainment system.

Fitted to the new Nissan is a brand new NissanConnect 2.0 infotainment system. This system promises to enhance the driver experience when integrated with your smartphone. Within the redesigned fascia is a 7.0-inch touch screen which now features customizable home-screens and widgets; as well as single line search. Qashqai in Tekna guise also receives a new update to the navigation system which allows for speeding up and simplifying the process of entering in the desired location. The new system comes with a new button layout and a new faster processor to reduce response times.

Standard on the new system is both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a rear-view camera. Also, Nissan now includes its Nissan Intelligent Mobility on Acenta derivatives and upwards where previously it was only available on Tekna guise variants. The Nissan Intelligent Mobility includes Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Intelligent Blind Spot Warning, and Intelligent Cross-Traffic Alert. The Qashqai 1.2T Tekna will now also be available with a CVT transmission, Intelligent Around View Monitor, Intelligent Moving Object Detection and On-Board Navigation.

Prices for the latest Nissan Qashqai, with NissanConnect 2.0, start at R358,100 incl. VAT.
