9 SA MILITARY History Society meets again on May 9 at 8pm at the Auditorium of the Museum of Military History, Erlswold Way, Saxonwold (next to the zoo), 8pm. The first event will be The Day George Washington Quit the Army by Kevin Garcia with the main lecture Lt Col John (Jack) Sherwood Kelly VC CMG DSO by David Holmes. 20 SAVE the dates! Känguru’s annual fun run/walk will be on July 20. Get your family and friends together and come and join them on this day. The run/walk starts at 8am at Känguru Foundation, 43 Garthview Road, Kliprivier. Tea and coffee will be available to fight off the morning chill. Food and drinks will be sold. PANORAMA Flea Market. Come and take a look at the new stores opening up at the flea market over the next few weeks. The market is situated just off Kliprivier Drive in Mulbarton, and is the busiest flea market in the South with almost 400 stalls. Open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
