NEW 12 RADIO Raps, also known as “Jonathan vanaf die Oos-Rand”, is no stranger to comedy lovers in South Africa and is back by popular demand to entertain fans at Carnival City this spring. He gets real at the Big Top Arena with his latest man show, Genuine, on October 12. In his characteristic, no-holds-barred, tell-it-like-it-is style, he gets to the core of humankind’s vulnerabilities and idiosyncrasies, and what makes mankind a unique species. “Genuine boys, we should really consider not taking ourselves so seriously,” he says. 1 ALBERTON SPCA is holding its annual golf day on November 1 with a shotgun start at noon. The event will take place at the Reading Country Club and registrations will open at 10am. The cost of a four-ball is R2 000 and hole sponsorship is R1 200. The four-ball includes a light dinner. The SPCA welcomes any sponsors for the day.
