Learn about colour therapy at charity event

Don’t miss out - find out more about the impact of colour on your everyday life.

THE annual Come Whine with Me event, hosted by Stepping Stone Hospice especially for the ladies, will this year bring an exclusive element to it – a talk by the renowned colour therapist, Sonet Erasmus, on the impact of colour on our everyday lives.

This event, now in its fourth year, will be held on September 8 from 1pm onwards at the Achoupana Restaurant at Rietvlei Zoo Farm.

Tickets sell at R250 per person and this includes a lunch, wine tasting and loads of entertainment, including a cabaret show by Miss Schereesepink.

“We believe that this year’s Come Whine With Me will surpass all expectations and are extremely grateful to have secured the talk on colour therapy by Sonet Erasmus,” said Marietjie Tame, marketing and fund-raising manager at Stepping Stone Hospice.

“Colour therapy is a complementary therapy for which there is evidence dating back thousands of years to the ancient cultures of Egypt, China and India. It has shown to help on a physical level, which is perhaps easier to quantify, however, there are deeper issues about the colours on the psychological and spiritual levels. It can heed excellent results for stress release, healing of self and past trauma,” explained Sonet.

The hilarious Miss Schereesepink will entertain guests with a half-hour cabaret show which from all accounts, has the audience up and on their feet in no time.

You can book your tickets through Michelle Varner on 078 294 9282 or Marietjie Tame on 082 337 5713. All funds raised are in aid of Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services in Alberton, the only facility of its kind in the Greater Alberton area of Ekurhuleni and Johannesburg South.
