Youth Day choir event

It will be a free one hour concert.

COME and enjoy the lovely children’s voices of the Cantare Children’s Choir at a free concert on June 16.

Cantare Children’s Choir will present the programme that they will sing at the 10th World Choir Games in Tshwane which will take place from July 4 to 7.

This free one hour concert will be held at the NG church on the corner of Candican and Phantom streets in Raceview. The concert will start at 3pm with doors opening at 2pm.

Franz Geldenhuys will be the guest artist and all choir music lovers are invited to this spectacular concert. Music of Rachmaninoff, Niel van der Watt, Javier Busto and Jim Papoulis will be presented.

Traditional South African music with the theme “Rainbow Wedding” will include songs like Al lê die berge nog so blou en Suikerbossie.

A tuck shop where you can buy tea and cake will be available before the start of the concert.
