A NEW stop-motion animation-adventure from the makers of Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run, a hair-raising horror and a comedy are the three new movies opening at Nu Metro The Glen this week.

Early Man (PG V)

Set at the dawn of time, when dinosaurs and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, this story tells of how one plucky caveman unites his tribe against a mighty enemy and saves the day. Dug, his sidekick Hognob, and the rest of their tribe face a grave threat to their simple existence. Lord Nooth plans to take over their land and transform it into a giant mine, forcing Dug and his clan to dig for precious metals. Not ready to go down without a fight, Dug and Hognob must unite their people in an epic quest to defeat a mighty enemy, the Bronze Age.

The Strangers: Prey At Night (18 HLV)

A family’s road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded trailer park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under cover of darkness, three masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test the family’s every limit.

When three parents discover their daughters’ pact to lose their virginity at prom, they launch a covert one-night operation to stop the teens from sealing the deal. Popular WWE wrestling star John Cena is one of the leading roles for this comedy, which is all about ‘teens out to have fun, parents out to stop it’.
