MUST SEE: Den of Thieves will be showing in the Xtreme cinema at Nu Metro The Glen.

Members of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff’s Department have intersecting and often personally connected lives. They’re on the trail of the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank of downtown Los Angeles.

Den of Thieves will be showing in the Xtreme cinema at Nu Metro The Glen for its opening week featuring high-octane action in one of Johannesburg’s most technologically advanced cinemas. Nu Metro’s Xtreme cinemas feature premium large format screens, crystal-clear digital projection and 360-degree sound (including overhead speaker systems).

Be one of the first to see Fifty Shades Freed (18 LNS)

GIRLS ONLY: Fifty Shades Freed is an erotic romantic drama film.

Nu Metro Cinemas has confirmed that there will be special, nationwide pre-release screenings for the highly-anticipated third chapter in the popular Fifty Shades-series of films on February 7, ahead of the film’s general release on February 9. These screenings will also take place at Nu Metro The Glen on the 7th with shows at 5.30pm (no persons under 18 allowed) and 8pm (Girls’ Night Out, no guys or ladies under the age of 16 allowed).

Fifty Shades Freed is an erotic romantic drama film directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on the novel of the same name by EL James. It is the final film in the Fifty Shades trilogy, and a sequel to the box office smash hits Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) and Fifty Shades Darker (2017). The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively.

Believing they’ve left behind shadowy figures from their past, newlyweds Christian and Ana fully embrace an inextricable connection and shared life of luxury. But, just as she steps into her role as Mrs Grey and he relaxes into an unfamiliar stability, new threats arise, jeopardising their happy ending before it even begins.

Bookings for the pre-release screenings (including Girls’ Night Out) of Fifty Shades Freed on February 7 at Nu Metro are now open (tickets almost sold out, tickets still available for 5.30pm show).
