14 SA MILITARY History Society will be meeting in the auditorium of the Museum of Military History, Erlswold Way, Saxonwold (next to the Zoo) on December 14 at 8pm. The first event will be The Royal Fleet Auxiliary in the Falklands War by Jeremy Carew. Instead of a main lecture, the film The Story of the Spitfire will be shown. The SA Military History Society holds meetings with lectures on the second Thursday of each month at which a wide variety of topics of military historical interest are discussed. Wives are welcome to come along with their husbands and enjoy the evening with us. Visitors are charged R30 per person which includes tea or coffee after the lecture. 16 and 17 TWO day market takes place on December 16 and 17 at Pomolong Hall, Birchwood Conference Centre, 14 Viewpoint Rd, Boksburg. Market times are from 11am to 6pm with other activities until 11pm. PANORAMA Flea Market: Come and take a look at the new stores opening up at the flea market over the next few weeks. The market is situated just off Kliprivier Drive in Mulbarton and is the busiest flea market in the South with almost 400 stalls. Open on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
