14 SA MILITARY History Society will be meeting in the auditorium of the Museum of Military History, Erlswold Way, Saxonwold (next to the Zoo) on December 14 at 8pm. The first event will be The Royal Fleet Auxiliary in the Falklands War by Jeremy Carew. Instead of a main lecture, the film The Story of the Spitfire will be shown. The SA Military History Society holds meetings with lectures on the second Thursday of each month at which a wide variety of topics of military historical interest are discussed. Wives are welcome to come along with their husbands and enjoy the evening with us. Visitors are charged R30 per person which includes tea or coffee after the lecture.
