Support Amcare’s annual Tree Of Light event
Proceeds of this event will go towards assisting Amcare in making their services possible to the poorest of the poor.
AMCARE’S annual Tree Of Lights event will be memorable as they have gone above and beyond to make the evening really special, according to Nadine Mason, fund-raising relationship manager of Amcare.
They are encouraging the community to have a picnic with them as they will be sharing memories and remembering late loved ones through their “Hang A Tag” occurrence.
You can participate by purchasing a tag, providing Amcare with your late loved one’s name and message and a group of wonderful volunteers will be making up your tags. Purchase your tag by contacting Desire via email at info@amcare.org.za and, on the evening of November 25, you can collect your tag and hang it under the tree.
It will be an evening filled with music, a special blessing and a beautifully lit tree which will remain on every night until January 1, 2018 (dates and times will be advertised via Amcare’s Facebook page).
You can order a delicious picnic filled with delicious goodies for adults or kids via Dial-a-Picnic – simply contact Manuela on 083 601 7135 to order. A percentage of these proceeds will be donated towards the evening’s funds raised. There will also be a coffee stand, water and soft drinks for sale.
