Superheroes versus villains at Mall of the South

For the first time EVER, superheroes will be taking over Mall of the South at ComicEx on December 2 and 3.

COMICEX is a movie cosplay where superheroes and villains, wizards and zombies etc. can come together to enjoy a day of fun together.

Mall of the South has partnered with Caxton Local Newspapers (Alberton Record, Comaro Chronicle, Southern Courier and GetIt Joburg South), Easyweb and Dion Wired. The different associations are all proud to be a part of the first ComicEx in South Africa.

You are welcome to come dressed as your favourite hero or villain and join us at ComicEx with loads of entertainment including live action role play, cosplay, gaming, alien paintball arena, movie theatre, free Wi-Fi access compliments of Easyweb, comic book stalls, merchandising stalls, giveaways and much more.

STAR WARS: Come dressed as a Star Wars character.

ComixEx is strictly a pre-ticketed event. R100 gets you in per day or R150 for two days. Tickets are limited, so be sure to get your tickets from Easyweb, Mall of the South Centre Management and at selected restaurants at the Mall, including chio, South Dakota Spur, Just Darling coffee shop, Mochachos and Rocomamas. No tickets will be sold at the door.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Johannesburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). The event will take place on level zero near entrance two from 8am to 7pm on both days.
