6 THE Alberton Lions will hold their annual golf day on April 6 at the Reading Country Club in New Redruth. Tee-off will be at 10:45 and the cost for two betterballs will be R2 000, which includes dinner. Golf lovers are invited to participate in this day. 2 CALLING all cake decorators, The South African Cake Decorators Guild, Alberton branch, will meet again at the Dutch Reformed Church (NG Kerk), 23 Glen Avenue, Verwoerdpark, on May 2. Monthly meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month, at 09:30 for 10:00, until 12:00. They are a group of men and women who share an interest in making and decorating beautiful cakes.
