THE majestic King Kong has had various big-screen incarnations over the past decades and Kong: Skull Island is the new 3D version of the classic tale.
The movie starts showing with enhanced sound on a premium large-format screen in Xtreme at Nu Metro the Glen from Friday, March 10.
Kong: Skull Island stars Tom Hiddleston (best known as arch-nemesis Loki from The Avengers) along with Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Brie Larson, John C Reilly and a host of other stars.
The film pushes the action (and spectacular special effects) to the next level, with nail-biting suspense and overall blockbuster-power.

A diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific, unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythical creature, Kong.
“I was a huge fan of what the producers of this film had done with Godzilla, and director Jordan Vogt-Roberts’s pitch for Kong was so brilliant and felt so fresh that it was a very fast commitment for me. Also, I had never had the opportunity to play a character like this one, and they were inviting me to put my fingerprint on it. I signed on about a year and a half before we even started filming, and getting to be part of their collaboration – on the character, the narrative, the time period, all of that – was really thrilling for me,” said Kong star Tom Hiddleston.
