*CAROLS by Candlelight on December 3. Come and enjoy a relaxed family evening and sing along to carols at the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve Marais Farmstead. *Join the open day at the James Hall Museum of Transport on Sunday, December 4. Celebrate our transport heritage and see the large collection of land transport vehicles. Spend the Open Day from 10:00 to 15:00 enjoying rides on some exhibits, eating good food and enjoying good company. The model tramway, on the first floor of the museum, will be operating. There will be old motoring magazines on sale for R5 each and all funds go towards the work of the Friends of the Museum for the transport heritage. Entrance is free and rides cost R15.

*IT may be a first for the Walkerville Agricultural Market, but it promises loads of fun for the whole family. Get out of the city and breathe in some fresh are and visit their first Christmas Market on Friday, December 16, from 09:00 to 18:00. Come and enjoy craft beer, delicious food, live entertainment and some Christmas shopping. For the little ones there is face-painting, jumping castles, sweets and toys, and the family can get together for carols by candlelight. *EAST Rand Crafters Market (Christmas edition) will take place in Benoni on both Sunday, December 18, and Monday, December 19. TAG (The Animal Guardians), SANBS (South African National Blood Services) are also going to be there collecting donations and to run the pet parade and competition.
