Alberton Record and Food Lovers Market bring you the Tip of the Week

The Alberton RECORD in corroboration with Food Lover’s Market at Mall @ Newmarket is giving you a chance to win a R500.00 voucher redeemable at Food Lover’s Market at Mall @ Newmarket.

Did you know that the strawberry is a member of the rose family and that it is the only fruit with seeds on the outside?

Strawberries are currently in season and Quinton Mostert, store manager at Food Lover’s Market at Mall @ Newmarket, shares some helpful tips about them.

Strawberries can be preserved by freezing them and can be refrigerated with their stems intact, as this prolongs their shelf life. With its high level of vitamin C and antioxidants, this sweet and tasty fruit really is packed with nutritional benefits and is such fun to eat!

The Alberton RECORD, in collaboration with Food Lover’s Market at Mall @ Newmarket, is giving you a chance to win a R500 voucher, redeemable at the food store.

To enter, simply email your name, surname, identity number, postal details and contact numbers to the Alberton RECORD, on cvdwalt@caxton.co.za, with the subject line: Tip of the Week.

Winners will be contacted via email and vouchers will be sent via mail, courtesy of Food Lover’s Market.

Entries close on Friday, October 7 at 12:00.

Strictly one entry per email address.
