Resident is worried about post office and drugs

I am very worried about the kids in our community being exposed to drugs.

I am very worried about the kids in our community being exposed to drugs.

I have been reading the articles in the RECORD about the concerns over the post office, but I also have a big concern of my own; I walk past the post office every day to go to work and all the homeless people who live there make me feel very uncomfortable.

My biggest concern is what I saw recently: a gentleman in his early 20s, who lives there, had a big needle and was sticking it into a little jar; it’s obvious he is injecting himself with something, and it’s not the first time I’ve seen this.

I’m worried a small child could get hold of the needles and be injured or become ill from them. I am very against drugs and injecting.

They don’t even try to hide it .

I hope we can do something about this problem, before something really bad happens.

The RECORD forwarded the letter to the post office for comment but, at the time of going to print, nothing was forthcoming.
