DISNEY’S new live action movie-version of ‘The Jungle Book’ starts showing at Nu Metro The Glen and other Nu Metro cinemas nationwide from Friday, April 15. It will be showing in 2D with digital Dolby 5.1 surround sound, as well as in glorious 3D in the Scene Xtreme-cinema at The Glen Nu Metro, featuring crystal clear visuals, projected with RealD’s Precision White Screen-technology onto a large format-screen, along with superb Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
Directed by Jon Favreau (best known for his work on ‘Iron Man’), ‘The Jungle Book’ tells the story of Mowgli, a man-cub raised in the jungle by a family of wolves. He embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery when he’s forced to abandon the only home he’s ever known.
Following its revered fan base as a classic piece of Disney animation, this new live action-version of ‘The Jungle Book’ promises to deliver the same touching dose of fantasy, adventure and drama. The film features an impressive cast, including big screen icons such as Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Giancarlo Esposito and Christopher Walken, who have all lent their voices to the animal characters in the film.
